About this publication

In this space, I used to publish predictions about weather and earthquakes* for a 8- to 9-day period, covering the entire world, from what is apparent on astrological charts. Since mid-April 2025, because of lack of time, I publish predictions about weather and earthquakes only for India and United States regions (and neighbouring parts, when relevant). I often include Myanmar, China and Japan regions, too.

However, if you want an estimate of earthquake probability only (and not weather) for a particular location and time, then you may book for a paid prediction service. See details here.

Posts published here are always free to read, as I publish them in public interest. However, you may consider supporting such groundbreaking work through a subscription or a generous donation.

My political astrology content is published on another website, which is here: https://palmistankur.com/.

*Sometimes, earthquake indications on the chart may be rather about other forms of earth disturbances such as volcanic activity, rockfall, mudflow, landslide or ground subsidence. Astrologically, they are all one category. So when I say earthquake, sometimes it is only earthquake/volcano that is meant, and sometimes the complete category is meant. Please always bear this in mind.

The plan ahead

Regarding earthquakes at least, I plan to create an earthquake prediction system and app in the future, with astrological and seismological data inputs, aided by machine learning to “catch” more patterns. I will need a few more hands (a person each with expertise in seismology, statistics and machine learning, and then of course someone to code an app) for this project, so I cannot pull this off till I have handsome funding for it and good, enthusiastic people to work with. I hope I find such people and funding in the future. Till then, I have to limit my work here, as earthquake and weather predictions are very time consuming.

What is my track record regarding weather and quake predictions?

You will find a non-exhaustive list of my successful predictions regarding weather and earthquakes on my blog.

For example, a non-exhaustive list of successful predictions from the year 2024 is available here. An ever-growing list of successful predictions from the year 2025 is here.

Why astrology for weather? Why not meteorology?

I am not advocating for any either-or approach. Ideally, astrology, meteorology and seismology, all should be interdisciplinary, but unfortunately, given that there’s this notion about astrology being a “pseudo”-science, it’s not the case currently in most institutions. All disciplines and their immense knowledge bases are needed.

What are the advantages of astrology over meteorology? And of meteorology over astrology? And seismology?

The biggest advantage of astrology is that it can be used to predict weather in a certain week even hundreds of years down the line. It can also predict earthquakes quite reliably, including in those places where earthquakes seldom occur. So, for example, there’s a chance of an earthquake in the U.S. Northeast during the period from January 14 to 21, 2044. That’s the big advantage of astrology: to predict far in advance.

However, astrology finds it difficult to refine very exactly the exact county or city or sometimes even a little province where things would happen in a region, especially when it comes to weather. For example, if I foresee strong storm in Florida, it is difficult for me to see if it is Tampa or Orlanda that could be hit more severely. Sometimes, it is possible, but to find an exact place is a a bit of hit or miss for now: one needs more astrological research to try to find more exact places.

In addition, finding the exact date within a week is difficult, though doable depending on Moon’s transits, but I don’t do it as I don’t have such a financial support available to me to dedicate so much time to it.

Meteorology cannot predict weather too much in advance—even predicting a couple of weeks in advance is gold—but as a particular weather system comes close, it can predict to a great certainty where exactly and at what hour things would happen.

Seismology is a fascinating science, which helps us understand the mechanics of earthquakes and volcanoes, for example. It tells us where the fault zones lie, that is, the areas where chances of earthquake are high (by default). However, seismology cannot predict when an earthquake would happen. At the most, seismologists may say that there may be a earthquake in this area, say, in the next 30 years, next 100 years. But they cannot say it will happen in a particular week, month, year or even decade. They cannot predict it even minutes before the quake.
