The Myanmar M7.7 earthquake and March 29 solar eclipse: A correlation easy to spot
A very brief analysis by astrometeorologist Palmist Ankur
Eclipses, particularly solar eclipses (given that the Sun is the centre of our solar system and the life sustainer), are considered strong malefics for collectives. They correlate very strongly with earthquakes, accidents, mass tragedies and the death of political leaders. In this post, I will demonstrate to you four things: (1) the very clear-cut correlation of an eclipse with a major earthquake, which caused a tremendous number of casualties; (2) how the correlations of an eclipse can be with events prior to the eclipse; (3) how eclipses can correlate with huge effects anywhere on the Earth, not just where they are visible; and (4) how it is the New Moon (for solar eclipse) or Full Moon (for lunar eclipse) degree that is the "eclipse degree," that is, the degree which one must be wary of as long as the eclipse continues to correlate with events on the Earth.
Now, the earthquake and the eclipse in question.
On March 28, 2025, at 12:51 hours local time, an earthquake with a severe magnitude of 7.7, and depth of 10 km, struck near Mandalay (Myanmar), causing more than a thousand fatalities and serious damage in Myanmar and neighbouring Thailand. The next day, on March 29, 2025, a solar eclipse happened. Given that the earthquake happened near Mandalay, let us use Mandalay local time: the New Moon timing was 17:27 hours on March 29 in Mandalay.
The coordinates of the quake were 22.013°N 95.922°E. They lie extremely close to the Nyingchi-Homalin line in the vicinity of which I had predicted an earthquake during March 22-30 period:
You can read about the prediction details in a blog post here.
But this post is not written to go into the mechanics of how I had predicted the earthquake area in this particular week. That had nothing to do with the eclipse. Rather, this post is to demonstrate the very strong correlation between a major earthquake and a solar eclipse.
Look at the following two charts:
The earthquake chart, March 28, 2025, 12:51 hours, near Mandalay:
The New Moon (solar eclipse) chart, March 29, 2025, 17:27 hours, near Mandalay:
Did you notice the obvious?
The Moon, which is the single biggest trigger for tectonic plates’ and tidal movements, and which I often follow in my analyses when it comes to earthquakes, at the time of the earthquake was at 21 degrees 8 arcminutes in the sign of Pisces, almost exactly at the contra-antiscion of the eclipse degree, which is 9 degrees in the sign of Aries (a degree that will continue to be relevant for various world events for the next 2-2.5 years). Thus, as soon as Moon reached the contra-antiscion of the eclipse degree, even before the eclipse happened, the massive earthquake was triggered.
Note that planets are in the same positions for the entire world at a given moment of time. So this only told us that at around 6:07 hours UTC on March 28, 2025 (the time when Moon was at exact 21 degrees 0 arcminutes in the sign of Pisces, reaching the exact contra-antiscion of the eclipse degree), an earthquake or similar malefic incident could happen in the world. The earthquake was felt at 6:21 hours UTC, fourteen minutes after our astrological estimate. (Do note that March 27-31, 2025, have been marked as critical dates by me for most regions of the world since a long time.) Why did the earthquake happen in Myanmar and not elsewhere? That information is visible in other charts, which I am not going into in this post, which is on the specific topic of eclipse-quake correlation. (It is those other charts that had enabled me to predict a quake in the area.)
Thus, I hope I have been able to demonstrate all the four following points:
(1) eclipses are strongly correlated with major malefic incidents such as earthquakes;
(2) such an event need not take place only after the eclipse: it can take prior to an eclipse;
(3) given that the solar eclipse was not visible in Myanmar or Thailand, I hope it is demonstrated that eclipses correlate to events in the entire world, not just places where eclipses are visible, demolishing a myth prevalent among several astrologers; and
(4) it is the New Moon or Full Moon degree that is the most useful in all astrological analyses regarding eclipses (as eclipses can last hours, some astrologers are confused as to what time they should take for the eclipse).
Finally, let us note some more things about eclipses. The March 29 solar eclipse happened in the sign of Aries, thus one can expect its correlated events to come swiftly. The earthquake was certainly one such swift event. An eclipse can correlate with several big and small malefic incidents as far as collectivities are concerned: small and big accidents, earthquakes, etc. Given it is happening in the sign of Aries, one would expect more heat-generating incidents (fires, earthquakes, volcanoes, accidents in which the vehicle or its motor end up breaking or in a fire, assaults using weapons such as knives and firearms, etc.) than other types of incidents. One should always be wary of the activation of the eclipse degree—for example, the Moon will reach the antiscion of the eclipse degree on April 10, 2025, at 7:10 hours UTC—but it is not that malefic incidents will produce solely or always when the eclipse degree is activated.
I hope this post has been instructive for readers: they can experiment with past and future eclipses, working on the same principles, and they will find many things of note.
