There has been much news about a swarm of earthquakes in the Dodecanese-Cyclades islands area, with people evacuating the touristy island of Thera (also known as Santorini) in particular, where a lot of quakes are being experienced. The earthquake swarm has come a bit earlier than I was expecting: I had predicted earthquakes in Greece from February 12, 2025, onwards (see posts here and here). I looked at the charts again, and I can see a highly seismic activity in the area, all the way till at least mid-May 2025. I had not thought it would be major quakes before February 12, but apparently I was wrong, and they are bigger than what I had thought. As I have said before, while estimating the region of a quake is not too difficult and nor is the time, but judging the severity of a quake can be challenging. Judging the exact location of a quake is also difficult, and as all of Greece-Turkey-Cyprus region is a very seismically active area, it is difficult, astrologically, to pinpoint where exactly a quake would happen.
With this in mind, let me forewarn the readers to avoid travelling in the region, in case they were planning to do so, till at least mid-May 2025, as I anticipate several earthquakes in the region during all this time, which may also include major quake(s). Volcanic activity, too, is possible, but earthquakes certainly are on the menu.
I have already mentioned in a note that “the night between February 9 and 10 (more precisely, around 11:30 pm on February 9)” could produce a major quake or some other type of seismic activity in the region. The evening of April 15, 2025, somewhere around 8-9 pm say, also looks a critical time for the region for a major event. That does not mean that nothing would happen in between February and April: I think the region would be quite active all this time, and there would continue to be seismic activity often. I will work out the possible dates of major quakes during each 8-9-day period of my Weather and Earthquake Watch posts and post them in comments on each of the posts and in Notes. That does not also mean that every such date will have some major event: I will put those dates up so that if anyone is in the region, they can be more prepared around those dates and times.
Do keep subscribed to Astro Weather Watch, including its Notes section, for updates, and feel free to forward to anyone whom you know for whom this could be relevant. Posts here are always free to read for anyone, as I publish them in public interest and also to advance the field of astroseismology, but if you want to support this work, you can upgrade to a paid subscription or donate. More funding would help me to dedicate more time to my research on astrological indications of weather and earthquakes.
Stay safe!

Note: Sometimes, earthquake indications on the chart may be rather about other forms of earth disturbances such as volcanic activity, rockfall, mudflow, landslide or ground subsidence. Astrologically, they are all one category. So when I say earthquake, sometimes it is only earthquake/volcano that is meant, and sometimes the complete category is meant. Please always bear this in mind.
