Earthquake Watch: 22 February-5 March 2026 (Part I)

Please read this sticky post to understand better the advantages and shortcomings of my earthquake prediction techniques as of now.

STANDING WARNING by me since a long time:
“Overall, there could be several huge or damaging earthquakes and landslides as well as water-related events (tsunami, severe typhoons, floodings, etc.) in the world during the period from late July 2025 to April 2026.”
Other points to remember:
(1) This is likely to be a period marked strongly by accidents, incidents of aggression and violence, and incidents involving fire, explosion and/or firearms. Incidents of network outages (power, telecom, etc.) and cyber breaches could also occur.
(2) Extremely heavy precipitation may continue to take place at several places in this period.
(3) Please see this post for a list of dates in February 2026 and this post for a list of dates in March 2026 regarding the type of events expected, including those dates where earthquake activity or accidents’ frequency or intensity are expected to be more.
And now below is the next set of predictions, first for the Eastern Hemisphere. Predictions for the Western Hemisphere (i.e., Part II) are planned to be published soon.
Most prediction lines given below are for M5.0+ quakes (magnitude 5.0 and higher). However, there may still be some that remain within the M3.5-M5.0 range. As I said in an earlier post, I will be publishing only a few prediction lines for now, as I need to spare time for further research and automation as well as other work. Hence, I will now not be looking to predict a majority of earthquakes around the world, as I was doing earlier.
Astroseismological predictions for the period from 22 February to 5 March 2026 (Part I, Eastern Hemisphere):

Note: Sometimes, earthquake indications on the chart may be rather about other forms of earth disturbances such as volcanic activity, rockfall, avalanche, mudflow, landslide or ground subsidence. They could also be about “non-natural” forms of falls of structures: for example, the collapse of a bridge, an industrial accident in which a big piece of equipment falls down, a plane crash, or a building or mine collapse. Astrologically, they are all one category. So when I say earthquake, the complete category is meant. Please always bear this in mind.
Earthquakes are predicted near the following imaginary lines (within 250 km, but mostly much closer). You may extrapolate all lines further at both their ends (especially for accidents and malefic incidents other than quakes). If a high magnitude is predicted for a particular region, then that high magnitude applies to all prediction lines when passing through that region, even if I have not mentioned any magnitude or mentioned a lower magnitude for the other lines. Also, when many lines are close by, it is not necessary that there would be an earthquake for each of those lines.
- Straight line running through 8°00′S, 175°27′E (southwest off Tonga, Nanumanga, Tuvalu). Noteworthy accidents or malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, possible near this line.
- Straight line running through 8°00′S, 168°32′E (northwest off Namania, Temotu Province, Solomon Islands). Noteworthy accidents of incidents of fire, violence or aggression or strong storms or incidents of network outages could also occur near some sections of this line.
- Straight line running through 42°00′S, 166°11′E (off the west coast of New Zealand). Noteworthy accidents of incidents of fire, violence or aggression or strong storms could also occur near some sections of this line.
Earthquake probability is high in the Solomon Islands-Vanuatu section of this line:
When extended further north, the line will hit the Kamchatka Peninsula.
- Line between 9°05′S, 160°48′E (west off Fulo, Malaita Province, Solomon Islands) and 12°00′S, 159°44′E (a point in the Solomon Sea). Noteworthy accidents of incidents of fire, violence or aggression or strong storms or incidents of network outages could also occur near some sections of this line. Troubles to ruling authorities could also occur near this line.
When extended south, the same line can be described thus: between 25°36′S, 154°14′E (northeast off Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia) and 37°30′S, 148°11′E (near Buchan, Victoria, Australia). Likelihood of violence or earthquake is high in the ACT-Victoria-Tasmania section of this line.
- Line between 8°00′S, 158°48′E (south off Litoghahira, Isabel Province, Solomon Islands) and 12°05′S, 157°19′E (a point in the Solomon Sea). Noteworthy accidents of incidents of fire, violence or aggression or strong storms could also occur near some sections of this line.
Given the incident-prone nature of the line, I leave the reader to extrapolate the line into Australia and Micronesia and, far up north, into the Aleutian Islands (Alaska, USA).
- Straight line running through 37°47′N, 145°27′E (far east off Soma, Fukushima, Japan).
When extended south, the line will pass very close to Guam-Mariana Islands area, as shown below:
- Line between 1°00′S, 141°01′E (north off Jayapura, Papua, Indonesia) and 10°00′S, 138°53′E (south off Komoran, Merauke Regency, South Papua, Indonesia). Noteworthy accidents of incidents of fire, violence or aggression or strong storms could also occur near some sections of this line.
When extended north, the same line can be described thus: between 53°36′N, 159°40′E (northeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy, Kamchatka Krai, Russia) and 51°00′N, 157°58′E (off Kamchatka Krai, Russia).
- Line between 42°00′N, 110°14′E (north of Baotou, Inner Mongolia, China) and 35°00′N, 110°08′E (south of Heyang County 合阳县, Weinan, Shaanxi, China). Strong precipitation and/or lower than usual temperatures could occur near some parts of this line.
When extended south, the same line can be described thus: between 1°48′N, 109°49′E (north off Lundu, Sarawak, Malaysia) and 8°00′S, 109°44′E (south off Lundong, Kebumen Regency, Central Java, Indonesia).
- Straight line running through 44°00′N, 110°00′E (south of Dzüünbayan, Dornogovi, Mongolia). Strong precipitation and/or lower than usual temperatures could occur near some parts of this line.
- Line between 2°53′S, 107°54′E (south of Buding, Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, Indonesia) and 8°00′S, 107°55′E (south off Sadatau, Garut Regency, West Java, Indonesia). Noteworthy accidents or malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, possible near this line. Very heavy precipitation could also occur near some parts of this line.
When extended north, the same line can be described thus: between 31°11′N, 107°39′E (near Baishuzhen, Xuanhan County, Dazhou, Sichuan, China) and 22°18′N, 107°44′E (near Canal Duo 渠多, Fusui County, Chongzuo, Guangxi, China).
- Line between 30°30′N, 91°50′E (near Youqia Town, Seni District, Nagqu, Tibet, China) and 22°00′N, 92°55′E (near Khaikhy, Mizoram, India). Noteworthy accidents or malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, possible near this line.
- Line between 30°00′N, 89°02′E (near Pudangxiang, Namling County, Shigatse, Tibet, China) and 22°36′N, 90°08′E (near Aukhira, Barisal Division, Bangladesh). Noteworthy accidents or malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, possible near this line.
When extended north, the same line can be described thus: between 49°00′N, 85°09′E (south of Soldatovo, East Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan) and 42°12′N, 86°47′E (near Bositeng Lake, Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, China).
- Line between 38°00′N, 77°46′E (near Kargilik County 叶城县, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang, China) and 28°00′N, 80°14′E (near Nawangaon, Uttar Pradesh, India). Noteworthy accidents or malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, possible near this line.
- Straight line running through 40°00′N, 74°04′E (northeast of Kala Qiale 喀拉恰勒, Wuqia County, Kizilsu Kyrgyz Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, China). Noteworthy accidents of incidents of fire, violence or aggression or strong storms or incidents of network outages could also occur near some sections of this line. Troubles to ruling authorities and death of political leaders or government servants could also occur near this line.
Given the incident-prone nature of this line, it is useful to see another section of the line, passing through western India, which may also be troublesome:
- Line between 25°53′N, 73°49′E (near Bagri, Rajasthan, India) and 21°00′N, 75°02′E (south of Mangrul, Maharashtra, India). Noteworthy accidents or malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, possible near this line. This is a very malefic line, and the wider area around the red coordinate symbol (Gujarat-Madhya Pradesh-Maharashtra region) appears quite malefic.
- Straight line running through 45°00′N, 71°34′E (north of Malye Kamkaly, Jambyl Region, Kazakhstan). Noteworthy accidents of incidents of fire, violence or aggression or strong storms as well as incidents affecting authority figures (political, business, etc.) could also occur near some sections of this line.
- Line between 39°06′N, 68°20′E (near Sarytag, Sughd, Tajikistan) and 32°23′N, 70°35′E (near Daraki, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan). Noteworthy accidents of incidents of fire, violence or aggression or strong storms or incidents of network outages could also occur near some sections of this line. Troubles to ruling authorities and death of political leaders or government servants could also occur near this line.
- Line between 38°00′N, 65°42′E (near Batash, Lebap, Turkmenistan) and 26°48′N, 69°26′E (southeast of Baeejee, Sindh, Pakistan). Noteworthy accidents of incidents of fire, violence or aggression or strong storms could also occur near some sections of this line. Earthquake probability is the highest in Sindh-Kutch area (Pakistan-India) of this line.
- Line between 35°00′N, 60°28′E (near Kamar Sabz, Razavi Khorasan, Iran) and 26°00′N, 63°44′E (near Tijabān, Balochistan, Pakistan). Noteworthy accidents or malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, possible near this line.
- Straight line running through 27°00′N, 50°51′E (a point in the Persian Gulf). Noteworthy accidents of incidents of fire, violence or aggression or strong storms could also occur near some sections of this line.
When extended north, the line will pass close to several major bases of the Iranian executive, military and theocracy, such as Tehran, Qom, Karaj, Kashan and Qazvin:
- Line between 40°00′N, 35°56′E (near Halıköy, Kadışehri/Yozgat, Türkiye) and 34°30′N, 39°09′E (north of Al Bawdah, Homs, Syria). Noteworthy accidents of incidents of fire, violence or aggression or strong storms or incidents of network outages could also occur near some sections of this line.
- Straight line running through 35°00′N, 19°48′E (a point in the Mediterranean Sea). Strong precipitation and/or lower than usual temperatures could occur near some parts of this line.
- Straight line running through 15°00′N, 17°52′E (near Eri Olanga, Barh El Gazel, Chad). Noteworthy accidents or malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, possible near this line. Strong precipitation and/or lower than usual temperatures could also occur near some parts of this line.
- Straight line running through 38°00′N, 5°15′E (north off Aokas, Béjaïa, Algeria). Noteworthy accidents or malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, possible near this line.
It must be noted that, on extending north, the line will pass close to the French Alps. Skiers should remain wary if in areas near the line.
- Straight line running through 38°00′N, 2°56′E (south off the island of Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain). Noteworthy accidents or malefic incidents, in addition to or instead of earthquakes, possible near this line.
- Line between 44°00′N, 4°44′W (north off Llanes, Asturias, Spain) and 36°00′N, 1°39′E (near Beni Bouateb, Chlef, Algeria). Strong precipitation and/or lower than usual temperatures could occur near some parts of this line. Earthquake likelihood is the highest in the northern Spain area of this line (i.e., roughly the Bilbao-Vitoria-Burgos area).

Note 1: Owing to lack of time, I am unable to look at every single prediction line in detail. I am publishing only those which look more prominent to me. It is possible that on some prediction line(s) that I have not chosen, a strong enough earthquake may take place, but I can only do my best with the time constraints possible. However, wherever a line is given, an earthquake or some other incident that can or does lead to fall of structures is highly likely to happen near it, unless weak probability is already noted.
Note 2: If a big earthquake has happened in a place, aftershocks may continue for days, weeks and even months. I predict the big (usually the first) earthquake, not always the aftershocks (unless they are also seen prominently on the charts, as does happen sometimes).
